Shakespeare, a short walk and afternoon tea!

We are really lucky to be in such a lovely leafy part of Stratford amongst period thatched cottages and quiet lanes. Just around the corner from Burnside Hotel, is one of the most famous of landmarks associated with Shakespeare – Anne Hathaway’s cottage! It is a short walk from Burnside Hotel, which in fact has it’s own beautiful period home, Brookside Cottage, (which is also available for up to 6 guests to stay).

Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, where Shakespeare met his wife Anne, over 400 years ago, is well worth a visit with its beautiful seasonal gardens – especially pretty at this time of year.

Having enjoyed the beautiful rural setting, why not complete your day out with a Burnside Afternoon Tea. Add your choice of tea to complete the occasion (or even a glass of Prosecco if you want to make it really special!)
